Upcoming MAS Events

MAS Artists

We are have a few activities left for 2008.

We hope to see you this Thursday, October 9th, for Gayle Asher's watercolor demonstration at the Old Memorial Town Hall and let me know if you want to join us painting at Bauer Farm on October 18th during their October Festival. We are displaying some of our paintings of Bauer Farm (11-3).

Some of us are still painting outside on Wednesday mornings. Let me know if you are still interested. We had 32 artists at the Friends of Hammonasett Show this past weekend. Sales were slow, but it was nice to see the professional paintings and great exhibits of our fellow artists.

I am forwarding an invitation from Gallery One, Old Saybrook, to show your work during November and December. Several of our artist's work are on display there this month for the Tracy Art Center's Water Show.

Mark down the following dates for MAS Member Show and Jury Show. Joe Veckerelli and Beth Wardwell are the coordinators for the Member Show and Sandra Kensler, Karen Wiesner and Denise Casey are the coordinators for the Juried Show. Part of being a member of MAS is volunteering to support our activities in some fashion. Whether you want to be part of receiving, judging, receptions, hanging shows, sitting during the shows, publicity, getting donations, etc. Please we need your support. Let me know what you are willing to do to make our activities a success. Email me at Bschirmeier@yahoo.com.
