Once again this year the Madison Art Society mounted a very successful show during the Dudley Farm Annual Harvest Festival on October 21st. The yellow barn on the property provides a wonderful space to exhibit paintings. The kiosks recently purchased by MAS were an excellent addition to the show allowing for more artworks to be hung. Over 200 beautiful works of art by MAS members were exhibited, and a lovely artists reception was held Friday evening. The beautiful weather on Saturday brought out many area residents and over 300 people came in to view the art. There were a number of sales and the Madison Art Network had a very well done display with information available for the public advertising the work of many of its members. Thanks are in order for the many volunteers who helped to make this show such a success, most notably show chairman Dick Christofferson.
MAS continues to endeavor to provide you, the members, with many show and sales opportunities. Your help is greatly appreciated and volunteers are always welcome!!
