A critique of selected works, currently on exhibit in the Madison Art Society's 42nd Annual Show, will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017. William Simpson, an oil painter and drawer of large scale charcoal works will offer comments and constructive criticism providing learning opportunities for artists and non artists alike.

William Simpson is an oil painting instructor at the West Hartford Art League and the Windsor Art Center. He is represented by Gallery Antonia in Chatham, MA. The public is invited to the critique and to see the show. The artworks can also be viewed during the library's regular hours until February 25, 2017.
