The Madison Art Society has announced the Town Hall Artists for November and December. Chester artist Claudia Van Nes and Guilford artist Bill Colrus will be exhibiting their work at the Madison Town Hall, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT. The Town Hall exhibits, each featuring two of the 250 members of the Madison Art Society, are a great way to bring art into the workplace. The exhibit, which is open to the public, can be viewed during regular business hours.
Claudia Van Nes
Claudia long painted in acrylics, but in the last couple of years, has turned back to pen and ink and watercolors using a rather fanciful style and concentrating on scenes and objects she is most familiar with. Very recently she has taken up abstract collage with papers she paints herself.

Bill Colrus, a longtime illustrator and designer, is known for his versatility and fondness for trying new approaches. After retiring from the commercial art world and turning his hand to fine art, the same passion for exploration prevailed.
Though a latecomer to fine art, Colrus' work - originals and prints - already hang on many walls here and outside the area. Coming with his newfound pursuit have been many awards, including best in shows.
