The Madison Art Society has announced the Town Hall artists for the months of September and October. Essex artist, Pam Carlson and Madison artist, Robert Dietz will be exhibiting their work at the Madison Town Hall, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT. Finding inspiration from the landscapes of the shoreline and from their travels, both artists are active in local art societies and galleries. Their work can be viewed during regular business hours.

Pam was born and raised in Darien, CT where, even at a young age, she loved art and participated in local school art shows. She worked in advertising, as a teacher and a full time mother before returning to her art. She exhibited in "town green" art and craft shows up and down the east coast for 20 years.
Currently, she concentrates on gallery shows, exhibiting in local galleries, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Bozeman, Montana. Five of her paintings of Connecticut's farm animals are presently hanging in the Congressional Office building in Washington, D.C.

After retiring, first from the electronics industry as a chip designer, then as a custom home builder, and finally as a home inspector, Bob decided to get back to his art roots. 35 years ago he dabbled in pastels and now he has dusted off his pastel set and been producing art work as if there was no break at all. HIs current work is inspired by recent trips to Cape Cod, Maine and Nova Scotia.
Bob is a member of the Connecticut Pastel Society, Madison Art Society, and Lyme Art Association. He is represented by Maple and Main Gallery in Chester, CT.
