The Madison Art Society will hold a Board of Director's show at the Scranton Memorial Library

John Tubb a Guilford artist and Marilee Noonan, a Madison artist will be among the 19 artists exhibiting in the Madison Art Society Board of Directors show at the Scranton Memorial Library in October.  The art show and sale features works, in all media, by members of the Madison Art Society Board of Directors.  The wall space of the community room is equally allocated to the artists and each artist decides how many works to display.

The Board of Directors of the Madison Art Society is composed of artists who volunteer their time to enrich and promote the arts on the shoreline and support the educational outreach of the Madison Art Society.  The society offers its 250 members several exhibition opportunities each year, an active plein air painting group, a winter studio group and numerous artist demos and lectures that are also open to the public.  Each year the society also funds a scholarship for a local high school student interested in studying art.

A percentage of all artworks sold is donated to the library and over the years MAS has donated more than $17,000 to the Scranton Memorial Library.
