The Madison Art Society will host a critique of work on exhibit at the society's 42nd Annual Art Show


A critique of selected works, currently on exhibit in the Madison Art Society's 42nd Annual Show, will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 William Simpson, an oil painter and drawer of large scale charcoal works will offer comments and constructive criticism providing learning opportunities for artists and non artists alike.

The critique will take place in the community room at the Scranton Memorial Library, 801 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT.  Mr. Simpson will also select the recipient of the Madison Art Society Critic's Choice Award from the 122 artworks on exhibit. 

William Simpson is an oil painting instructor at the West Hartford Art League and the Windsor Art Center. He is represented by Gallery Antonia in Chatham, MA. The public is invited to the critique and to see the show.  The artworks can also be viewed during the library's regular hours until February 25, 2017.
