Madison Art Society to host Art Demonstration by Faye Mylen

As a non profit, The Madison Art Society strongly supports the educational outreach of their mission by offering seven demos or lectures throughout the year.  The demo is open to the public and free of charge.

Faye grew up in the Catskills in an art rich environment, the daughter of a lifelong landscape painter. Her mother’s passion for art was an integral part of Faye’s childhood, with many weekends spent in galleries and museums as well as pouring over books of the great masters like Cezanne and Matisse.

Faye has studied painting both abroad as well as locally. She has most recently studied at Silvermine Arts Center as well as Lyme Art Association. She is a member of the Madison Art Association and Fairfield County Art Association. Faye has shown her work in juried art shows throughout Connecticut and is currently represented by Maple and Main Gallery of Fine Art in Chester, Connecticut.

Faye finds great inspiration in the works of Hassam, Ruisdail, Cezanne, Klimt, and O’Keefe. Faye lives in Fairfield with her three young boys.
