The Madison Art Society will sponsor a charcoal portrait demonstration by artist David Shultz on October 1, 2015 at 6:30 PM. The demo, drawn from life, will be held on the second floor of Memorial Hall located on the Green in Madison. The public is invited to attend.
David Shultz studied art at the University of Wisconsin, but is primarily self taught. He worked as a graphic designer and illustrator as well as a theater set designer and builder.
Shultz said, "While I think portraits and the human body are my favorite subjects, I tend to paint whatever I might find interesting at the moment".
