Plein Air Painting Schedule Change

MAS Plein air Painters

We are still going Medad Tavernin Guilford on Wednesday - July 2nd, however I was informed that several of our members display their art work on the Guilford Green for the Expo. They need to set up there tents etc. that Wednesday, July 16th, so painting at the Goodspeed was not easy for them time wise. I was asked if we could switch to a more local scene, Bauer Park in Madison. I hope this does not impact the rest of you. If I do not see you at Medad Tavern, please have a great Fourth of July.

July 23rd - Dudley Farm - Guilford - B. Schirmeier has obtained permission
July 30th - Pat Barrone's home - sunset - 4 - Clinton Beach and marsh
August 6th - Ashlawn Farm - Lyme
August 13th - Goodspeed Operal House - or Town Park onthe other side of the river - Pat Seakamp is checking on this site for us. Orginally on July 16th - Note the change
August 20th - Leete's Isalnd at Barbara Elliot's home
August 27th - A farm in Wallingford - Jay Babina will get directions and permission to paint
September 3rd - Chamyard Vineyards ( B. Schirmeier has received permission)
September 10th - Chatfield Hollow
September 17th - Guilford Green

Don't forget to see Shauna Shane's animal study in acrylic and pastel demo at 6:30 at the Old Memorial Hall - July 10Th, the art sale - July 12Th at the Deacon Grave House (contact me if you want to display your work and you need to be there with your own work and display stand), the Library Art Festival and Sale on August 2ND on Wall St.(send form and entry fee to to Seymour Page) , the portrait demo by Chris Zhang on August 7Th at 6:30, Gabor Svagrik in October and the October 4Th and 5Th Friends of Hammonasett sale at Hammonasett 9 free but you need to be there yourself with your display stand - contact me if interested).
